SEASONS DEATH CAFÉ
First Tuesday each month
7 – 8:15 pm CDT / CST
The purpose for a Death Café is to increase awareness of our relationship with life—from birth through the spring, summer, fall, winter, to end-of-LIFE. We'll discuss how death is showing up in our lives. Talk about death in an open and vulnerable way. Sharing what might feel like uncomfortable things in this safe space.
The link for the next café is at the bottom of this page.
The INTENTION of our Death Café is:
- To talk about death in an open and vulnerable way.
- Our Death Café emulates a Talking Circle where we listens, share our thoughts, curiosities, experiences, short stories.
- We will speak with "I" statements, and respect that everyone has their own beliefs.
- As we support one another with compassionate listening, respecting the time so everyone has time to share.
- This is not a place where we give advice, coaching, nor a place for judgement. This is not a grief processing or therapy group. This is a place for humble listening, where we witness others sharing.
- Emotions shared and witnessed can create healing, and increased emotional intelligence.
- We welcome your honest curiosity, your questions, your vulnerability, your willingness to explore, and your authentic being.
The goal of this Death Cafe is to become more comfortable in our relationship with death.
The tradition in Death Cafés is bring your cup of tea or beverage to the Zoom gathering.
Our Death Café is free.
Cori Levin and Kate Cavett, are both End-of-Life Doulas.

We recognized that conversations about death can ease a person's anxiety and alter a person's outlook about life. Embracing our death, enhances the quality of our life.
